One of the top six areas of in the world for terrestrial biodiversity, and one of the top ten for marine biodiversity. The National Parks of the Coast care for this uniqueness by protecting the habitat of the plants and animals.

West Cape Howe National Park
West Cape Howe National Park contains the most southern point in Western Australia, Torbay Head. Almost completely covered in heathland and forest and bearing the force of the Great Southern Ocean, this National Park is worth the visit.

Shelley Beach Turquoise waters, verdant surrounds and ocean breeze make this beach a popular yet remote destination. Visit Shelley Beach

Forsyth Bluff This eastern most end of the National Park is rugged with large waves and waist to head high heathland. Visit Forsyth Bluff
Torbay Inlet Many people find Torbay to be one of the most relaxing and peaceful places along this stretch of coastline. Visit Torbay Inlet
Two Peoples Bay National Park
Two People's Bay Nature Reserve is a very welcoming place with much to see and explore. The visitors centre is well-kept and informative with a wonderful little gift shop packed with information on the area. Picnic tables and toilets are located a short walk from the car park. There is also access to the walking trails from here.

Sinker Reef It is easy to see why it was given this name as the jagged black rocks rise in rows along the entire stretch of coastline. Visit Sinker Reef
Taylor Inlet Taylor Inlet near Nanarup is a winding Inlet, home to many species of waterbirds. Visit Taylor Inlet
Two Peoples Bay NP Located approximately 25 kilometres north-east of Albany. Rediscovery of the presumed extinct noisy scrub-bird. Visit Two Peoples Bay NP
Torndirrup National Park
Torndirrup National Park covers almost four thousand hectares and is home to the famous 'Gap' and 'Natural Bridge' rock formations (below) which have formed over thousands of years. These granite outcroppings have been slowly worn away by the Great Southern Ocean.

The Blowholes The Blowholes are crevasses in the granite stretching down to sea level far below. With each wave the holes blow air and water up the channel. Visit The Blowholes
Gull Rock National Park
Home to the Mount Martin Botanic Park, take a walk through the bushland to the peak of Mount Martin (152mtr) and get an incredible view of Middlteon Beach, Emu Point and Mount Adelaide in Albany City.
Boiler Bay Beach Walk along Ledge Beach on Boiler Bay in the Gull Rock National Park and view the top of the Awhina Shipwreck. Visit Boiler Bay Beach
